Someone, anywhere in the UK, is trying to get a new SIM-card for their mobile phone. Or it could be their gas bill, or a train ticket… or whatever. We all have to do it, every day. So who are we calling, and who are we trying to talk to, at the other end of the phone?

India Calling uses dance, music, text and a range of theatre techniques, to explore the fascinating and disturbing world of the call centre, to entertain, engage and at the same time question the values of our global economy.

India Calling has been developed with funding from Arts Council England East Midlands and support from Westminster Arts, Dance 4, ncn Colleges, Sampad, Akademi and UK Foundation for Dance.
